We are now ready to begin offering a listening ear and a safe space to anyone affected by abortion.

We offer a confidential and non-judgemental space for people to talk through their feelings about abortion, whether they’ve had an abortion themselves, are thinking of having one, have supported or are supporting someone to have one or provide healthcare involving abortions.

We will be able to sign post where necessary to abortion care, counselling or other services.

If you feel that you have what it takes to facilitate safe, respectful and supportive conversations about abortion, you could be part of our new support line.

You don’t need to have been through a particular life experience or be from a certain walk of life. Anyone who wants to help others, is tolerant and open-minded is welcome to apply.

You do need to be:

  • Pro choice

  • Non-judgemental

  • Kind and compassionate

  • Patient and understanding

We hope to open the  support line as many hours as possible and would expect a minimum commitment of 3 hours per fortnight.

If you would like to apply please provide your CV and covering letter.
